SLabsIPSearch™

Overview

SLabsIPSearch™ is a customized search service provided as a Web Service by Semantic Laboratories for the discovery of pharmaceutical-related entries in public intellectual property databases. These databases are derived from bibliographica data aggregated from USPTO, the EPO and related agencies and filtered for drug discovery-related topics.  The aggregated data is indexed using the open-source Apache Lucene system and novel clustering methods. SLabsIPSearch™ does not replace the need for in-depth access to patents, but is  a starting point for patent analysis by making this aggregated content searchable using semantic queries within the SLabsSearch Desktop application.

Systems Configuration

Access to SLabsIPSearch™ is available over the Internet using the SLabsSearch™ Desktop application. An subscription ID and an initial user account is required.  Encrypted communication with the SLabsIPSearch™ server can be established using standard web services security protocols.
